Transitioning a bit tonight. Seems lonelier, and I find myself wanting to be busy. Last time here it took me about 6 days to get over the "what the hell am I doing here" feelings. This time I prepared to let them come. It's necessary for me to let myself feel lonely in order to get quiet enough to begin to really feel.

This unrelentlingly sunny day began with an 8:30am breakfast at Tom Citybuscafe.com. This is a rare day in that Tom has two helpers today, so if this is possible next Monday he and Jean will take a day off and head for Mexico.

Spelled Hadji ali - slurred by the army mule skinners to Hi Jolly. He came with the camels that the army tried for a while in the desert here. They did great in the desert but found mules to be intolerable and apparently the mules felt likewise.
