Transitioning a bit tonight. Seems lonelier, and I find myself wanting to be busy. Last time here it took me about 6 days to get over the "what the hell am I doing here" feelings. This time I prepared to let them come. It's necessary for me to let myself feel lonely in order to get quiet enough to begin to really feel.

Having bolted the pump, which has been rattling around
in my various buckets for 2 years, to the back of one of
the drawers from the entertainment center, I made the
first serious cut of the existing sewer hose.

Here the pump is running filling the blueboy on the bed of the truck. All went well, as I would stop pumping every 30 seconds to check the level of the contents and the weight.

I took this picture on the way back from the blueboy dump. Butch liked this picture, as we couldn't figure out why anyone would put a sign - dusty road- in the middle of hundreds of miles of nothing but dusty roads.

Here's the blueboy dump. My hands were busy and not too clean, so I didn't get a picture of the dump itself. However not a drop was spilled and I was able to dump without every picking up the blueboy - which was the goal of this whole project, to save my back.

I drove over and got in line to use the RV dump - which has water for rinsing, but the line was 6 RV's waiting, and no signs of movement. I came back to this - the BLM calles it a dry dump - meaning there is a leach field under there, but no water to rinse.I was a bit nervous because it was a first dump for this system I had designed. I was dumping from the truck height through the remaining sewer hose down to the open holes visible in the picture. Worked like a charm, dripping nothing, and most important I didn't drip anything in the back of the truck.

A successful project.
