Health - the complete collapsing mess of getting healthcare in the USA today. A rant in progress that will have to wait for a day with more time.

However let it be said that I work at a large hospital chain and daily watch the proliferation of systems that are unsupportable, the constantly increasing demands of doctors for the latest, unsupportable software applications, and worst, the constant erosion of the human touch in a world controlled by the fear of lawsuits and the federal government.

If you want someone to actually have the time to care for you and be a human physician, and not take every single last dollar then you'll have to receive your care outside the USA.
