Quote from Winston Churchill
Whenever I write about about any coming collapse scenario, no matter how obvious, logical or well documented by even national media it might be, I'm greeted by a complete yawn from readers. Here is a quote from Winston Churchill that gives me some comfort, or of course, you were right all along and I'm completely fucking nuts.
Men occasionally stumble on the truth, but most
of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if
nothing had happened. - Winston Churchill
That touch a nerve for anyone?

No, you are not fucking nuts! You are clear and to the point, and you have a plan of action for when the collapse does come. You have, I'm sure helped many people with the information that you have worked so hard to create on your website. You may not hear from those who listen to you, but you'll just have to take that on faith. Truth has its own definition for each person, I believe. Some will take what you say as truth, many will not. Dianne
There's too much for my little mind to chew on lately. I'm just taking care of me and mine...
I guess secretly wish for the whole damn perfect storm to come soon so I can watch it unfold around me. I know it makes me a bad person, but nothing would make me happier than to hear officially on the 6 o'clock news that everyone is fucked and then watch the masses run around burning the last of their resources trying to hold onto it all...
If a white duck walks up to three people, I'm still working under that assumption that the three people will admit that there is a white bird of some sort there in front of them. I believe that we share enough overlap in our individual sanity/insanity that we all will agree that a white bird exists. That is the very small level of agreement that I'm looking for when I write. Does anyone else see the insanity and the horrible thing we have done with the gift of our free energy? Why do we see, and then stop seeing it, stop talking about it, and just go back to business as usual?
These three people who met the white duck, their different appreciation of the white bird might be that two of them know its a duck. The third knows its a bird, but not sure about the duck park. But he is sure it's not a road runner because he has seen the road runner on cartoons and the duck has not said, beep beep.
Maybe one of them knows it's good eating. Of those three probably nobody will kill and eat it. Thats a big difference. We're so separated from our own planet, we participate so little in the real life of our own planet, that 200,000 years ago, the duck would have already been eaten by the three people before my discussion was done.
200,000 years ago, recognizing an duck meant duck for dinner. Now, modern man reads that the economy is collapsing, oil is running out, the seas are rising and only reaction is to look in the fridge to see what there is to eat.
In the survival of collapse sweepstakes, of these four, I'm betting on the duck.
