Christmas pictures up from Q

I wrote a little state of the mcnalan piece on the main site here.
Also I put up a picture of La Casa Blanca going together for the third year, and a picture from Midge Mountain.
Merry Christmas chickies. On to making Christmas dinner.

Casa Blanca has less of a seraglio look this year, more of a back-yard look. Your arrangement of cross-tensioners looks like the thing my dad used to do with wooden gates to keep them square. His method involved twisting a stick or a spare screw-driver/broken wrench etc., in the diaginal wires so he could take up any slack that developed over time.

Enjoy your sunshine - we are having Oregon Slushies here - snow/sleet/rain topped off with a mild freeze.

If you mean in the sense of a Turkish Harem, it is definitely less that and more back yard. I too got the cross bracing idea from my fencing past on the farm, however without wire it serves more to stop the slides from bowing in when the wind is strong.

The "compound" has been almost to freezing here many times in the last two weeks, ice once in the grey water drain flex pipe. But the sun drives away my blues! I continue to transition, and hope to have my feet under me soon so I can write more.
Everything here seems fractured for me, less social fabric, more cold wind, more injuries. Hmmm.
